Anthony “Pops” Vieira was inducted into the American Youth Football Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Pops was honored for over 30 years of service to youth football.
Pops has been coaching football continuously since 1977 at both the High School level and with the South Attleboro White Hawks. Pops’ son, Tony, has coached with him in recent years. Pops’ daughter, Sheila, just completed her twentieth year of coaching cheerleading for the South Attleboro White Hawks.
